The wonderful Piazza San Carlo again, the equestrian statue is that of the Emanuele Filiberto, though the one of the late 1800s, not to be confused with the most recent Prince of Venice and Piedmont with the same name.
This piazza was so empty and spacious that it was so nice to spend time in, there were many cafes including the official Lavazza Cafe. We did not visit any of these but all were very nice looking, I would have enjoyed spending the day relaxing there.
