I will update this list with the more I wander the city, but here are a few of my favorites of Rome.
Museums and Paid Attractions:
Piazza Navona: Off Via del Corso
Villa Pamphilii: in Monteverde
Chiesa di Gesu(look at the ceiling!): Located next to Scholars lounge pub, between Piazza Venezia and Largo Argentina.
Chiesa San Luigi di Francesi (where there are Caravaggios!): between the Pantheon and Piazza Navona.
Trastevere: the whole neighbourhood, take a wander around!
The Janiculum Hill.
Eat, Drink and all those wonders!
Mentelocale I eat here every year for mine and my boyfriends dinner, though their main dishes may be expensive for 4-6 euro you can get a sampler of deserts which includes a large plate of 5 deserts, usually a full molten cake, 3-4 scoops of gelato and something else local.
Tornatore Amazing bar, best pastries, cornettos and even a cheap lunch buffet option. My all time favorite bar, located just off Piazza Del Radio, on Odersi Di Gubbio
Zi Ciro Ok so these guys are a bit far, out on Magliana. But I promise you will not regret the trip, best pizza ever, and they happen to be the nicest staff. I recommend the Diavola pizza and the tiramisu, it is the best.
